I’m an idea person. I think of awesome shit all the time. I have a great eye. I can design the hell out of a space or a logo. The thing is, there is nothing great about that. I’ve got something that feels special but it’s not really. Lots of people have unique awesome ideas. There are other people who don’t have that. They have determination, execution. They can make things happen. They don’t get bored half way through a project. They want to see thing through to completion. There is nothing super unique about that either. Those people are also a dime a dozen. What impresses me are the people who have both: ideas and determination, creativity and follow through. Those people are super rare. I’m definitely not that person. I wish I was, but I’m not.
